Our goal is to provide and present the most progressive educational programming. The American Academy of Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgeons Scientific Organizers have determined that the following areas in Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgery are currently experiencing the greatest technical advances and invite abstract submissions in any of the following categories: 3D Neuro-anatomical Microsurgery Dynamic Complex Spine Techniques Fetal Surgery International Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgical Experiences Microsurgical Treatment of Brachial Plexus Injuries Minimally Invasive Spine and Intracranial Techniques Nerve Grafting Neurosurgical Trauma Novel Applications in Neuro-endovascular Techniques Open Reduction Fractures Orthopaedic Trauma Orthopaedic Pediatrics Peripheral Nerve Grafting Pros and Cons of Spinal Instrumentation Skull Based Approaches: Surgical, Radiosurgical, and Minimally Invasive Techniques Stereotactic Neurosurgical, Radiosurgical, Neuro-Robotic Approaches, Awake Craniotomies Technology as Applied to Global Exchange in Neurological Surgery & Orthopaedic Surgery Vertebroplasty These topics have been derived from research and literature review, practice parameters, consensus reports and quality patient care data that includes chart audit, mortality/morbidity data, risk management data, and quality improvement data. Of course we will allow time for “Free Paper Presentations,” and welcome all submissions. The American Academy of Neurological and Orthopaedic Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
